The Age of Consequence and Recompense

Greetings

Welcome to Cultivate Ministries, we are coming back online slowly but surely so things will progres a bit slow but they should get better soon.

Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night? The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire ye: return, come.

The Age of Consequence and Recompence

I remeber when Chuck Misler would say in his presentations that the irrisponsible and often illegal actions would have dire consequences for all he would also say to never under estimate the ability of a government to fore stall those consequences and to expect them to keep kicking the can down the road.

Well it looks like we have found the end of the road. And it’s not just a can anymore is a gigantic pile of rotten trash now. A trashed economy, a bankrupt one and so many other things we could discuss in disgust for weeks.

Still I can’t help but wonder how much of what we are about to go through is reaping the fruits of sin, and how much of it will be judgement of sin.

One the patterns of judgement I have noticed in the Bible is that judgement usually involves famine, war and pestilence upon a nation in different orders. I think we are experiencing pestilence and it’s poverty, filth, and disease and not soon enough for our president war and famine couldd happen soon. Yes I guess I would say that Judgement is what is on the horizon for sure.

In the days ahead I’ll cover that and other topics as well, so stay tuned and stay alert there is plenty to address in the days ahead and we should be ready for them all.

A monument to folly.

This is one of those things I would like to see happen someday. Whenever a future generation somehow overcomes the mass dementia of the current jello sucking alky’s reign of tyranny. Jim

Navigating Paradox

Nothing weakens humanity more than paradox in my opinion.
And something I think the internet has been able to do so successfully that it could end modern civilization as we know it is the ability to spread paradox un hindered to the point of contagion and malignancy.
Thankfully for those who can see the danger of a world of endless paradox there is the Word of God. Which in so many ways one of the only means of navigating the mass insanity of a world trapped in endless paradox.
It predicts, tracks and records the outcomes of how to deal with it sucessfully and un-sucessfully as well I believe.

Of course a subject such as this can become an endless conversation and that is not my intention. I only want to help those who realise it and how much it hinders and weakens humanity and let other know that the Bible is a book that is all about avoiding the black hole of paradox.

Getting our feet wet

I don’t really know the best way to approach this subject other than just to go into I guess.
I can remember back in the Vernon, Adrian Rogers, and Charles Stanley days one of them had a sermon that started off with a strong condemnation of a bumper sticker on the back of a camper that said “we’re spending the kids inheritance”,
That sermon was in a study of the book of Joshua, and seems like it could be prophetic to where we are today in many ways. Maybe that bumper sticker should read “we blew our retirement, it’s all gone” today.
My oldest son asked me about what would be ahead for him in his future would be with an irresponsible hippie generation running the nation, where a president could lie to the people five times under oath with no real consequence from those who took oaths to do so. At that time about the only solice I could offer was the God promises that those who did not partake and follow in the fathers sins would not be judged or punished for by God.
So were comming up on about thirty years later now and I still have a sense that what I told my son is true. And we will see the fruits of fathers will be reaped in this nation, one of those who was integral in that generation was our current president, and has been since 1972 and about 30 years old then and was a leader in the “move on” group who said lying is not a crime lets move on and forget about it, well, we wll see.
To those who are moving into the times ahead in their prime it could be a time where they will need to get their feet wet crossing over into their ineritance, where markers will need to be establish, sinful ere behaviors abandoned a time where clearing out and cleaning up and repairing and organising a functional and working civilizaton need to be done. With devine guidance to be sure.
I’m convinced as the demise of the reprobate and demented and the sundowning of that generation occurs there will be some risen up for the the challenges ahead. My encourgement to such is as God’s to Joshua. “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

A Nation in Decline

I have to wonder if anyone else has noticed there is plenty going on that just doesn’t make sense lately.
I happened along something recently that helped me with that a bunch that I thought might be worth sharing with others and considering more as well. What I stumbled on was an article and about caring for those who have reached the age of mental and cognative decline and the stresses involved in dealing with such on a day to day level. I noticed right away that the symtoms were not only those of suffering mental and cognative decline but of our nation to a large part and especially our leadership. It was curious as well that while still having a good level of intellegence and experience the decline in cognition short circuits the functionability of the persons.

One of the things I was struck by was a well known thing. And that is that those who become the care givers of such are highly succeptable to experiencing mental decline as well. It is well known occupational hazard in the field of care providers for those experiencing mental decline. That happens for many reasons it turns out and with out deliberate mental and emotional and even physical separation it is highly likely to occur.

As I pondered on such throughout the day I realized how much of the function and structure of US society is in such a state of cognative decline. I’ll let you ponder on such in your own situations, adding the idea to your considertions of the social enviroment around us I have noticed helps it make more sense.

With that addition to my observations of the landscape and horizon around us I realized that a day is comming, probably sooner than we think, when there will be a need for those who can clean up, fix up, and organize what survives the passage of this era in the US. Knowing what to keep, salvage and discard from a dead past is something that is likely better considered before that time comes than after in many ways, not to mention lessening the stresses of such.

Along those lines I happened to drive through what was at one time a thriving neighborhood that had become a run down crime ridden area, and to my surprise it was once again a thriving and attractive place. That is something to consider for the tasks ahead of us. More on this to come I’m sure……

INDIFFERENCE DISGUISED AS COMPASION
The richest man in America calls Seattle home. So do thousands of others who are forced onto the streets because they are too poor, too addicted or too detached from reality. At night, the city's homeless sleep wherever they can preyed upon by politicians eager to push pet projects and scattered initiatives that make themselves look good but do little else. Sick of stepping over used condoms, broken lighters and needles, residents are heartbroken to see the city they've loved turn into dangerous, drug-infested dens of filth, disease and human misery.

THE SIGN OF PESTILENCES
THE SIGN OF PESTILENCES
What is the END GAME of PANDEMICS? Adam’s sin allowed death to enter the world. Our original parents were first to taste the warmth of life, and also first to feel the coldness of death. Before the fall there was no disease, no coughing, fevers, convulsions, or death. But death brought sickness when it arrived, and now sickness accounts for the most deaths each year around the world. Every cough is a reminder of our fallen world, every sickness is a reminder of our inevitable death, and all who will every sin, get sick or die need a Savior. So each new wave of diseases and death is actually an advertisement showing how desperately we all need a Savior.
